Video: Lorenzo Romar postgame Fullerton

Lorenzo Romar calls this a gritty win for Washington.

Overview:
I don’t think that Cal State Fullerton made us look bad in terms of the type of team we were. I told our guys they are so gifted with the ball in their hands individually. They have multiple playmakers and you saw that. D.J. Seeley hits big shots for them. We were, for whatever reason, very lethargic early on, and they capitalized on that and went up. > Washington up 69-53 and starting to pull away.

> Essentially, Loyola is playing without a safety and going to the O boards like

Notes, quotes and thoughts following the Western game

Washington wanted a test in its exhibition and Div. II defending national champion Western Washington provided it.

The Vikings were scrappy and tricky to guard during Washington’s 88-78 win. I said to Washington head coach Lorenzo Romar afterward that Western was like South Dakota State Light, and he said that’s what he told the team beforehand.
