Welcome to a sparsely populated Hec Ed. Another late-night tip and losing seven out of eight have not brought in the masses. Gamethread on the jump:
> Free throws take care of it for Washington. It snaps a three-game losing streak.
> Under-4 timeout. Kemp just powered in a hoop to give Washington its largest lead of the night at 63-54 with 3:34 to go.
> Under-8 timeout and the game has slowed considerably. Washington holds a narrow 53-52 lead with 7:28 to go.
> Gaddy ties his season-high with eight assists. Has two turnovers.
> We’ve made it to the under-12 timeout. Washington leads 49-45 with 11:35 to go. Washington with just one turnover, a Scott Suggs charge, this half.
> Under-16 timeout and Washington has dragged itself into the lead, up 43-39 with 15:27 to go. Shawn Kemp Jr. and Aziz N’Diaye doing some scoring inside.
> Halftime. Oregon State leads 34-32. Wilcox has 12 points, the most he has scored since he had 15 at UCLA. The Huskies also have 13 turnovers, which is more than they had all game against Oregon on Wednesday. Wilcox also had four free-throw attempts, which is as many as he had the prior three games combined.
> Wilcox is heading to the line with Oregon State leading 27-26 with 3:55 to go. Washington has 10 turnovers so far.
> We’ve made it to the under-8 timeout in what has become a manic game. Moreland just missed a jam all by himself right after Jernard Jarreau threw down an alley-oop. We’re tied at 26-26 with 6:18 remaining in a sloppy half.
> At the under-12 timeout, turnovers continue to dominate the game. The teams have combined for 13 turnovers and 13 made field goals. Washington leads 16-14 with 11:28 to go.
> Consecutive turnovers against the OSU trap by Wilcox and Moreland’s dunk causes a UW timeout. Washington leads 13-12.
> We’re seeing a lot of Wilcox heading toward the rim early here. He’s got four, is going to the line and Washington leads 10-6 with 15:22 to go.
> Back to your regularly-scheduled program: We’ll see if OSU puts Moreland on Wilcox again.
> Terrence Ross just won the dunk contest.
> Washington with regular starters: Gaddy, Suggs, Wilcox, Kemp, N’Diaye. OSU with Starks, Barton, Nelson, Burton and Moreland.
