Arik Armstead (75) picked Oregon over Cal and Washington on Sunday.

Arik Armstead, who is rated as one of the top prep offensive and defensive linemen in the country, announced today that he will play at Oregon.

That’s a blow to Washington, which hoped to get an oral commitment from the Elk Grove, Calif., prospect. California was also one of Armstead’s final choices.

Washington can still pick up a difference-making offensive tackle. Lakes High’s Zach Banner will choose between Washington, USC and Oklahoma at 2:30 p.m. Monday.
