Might be the most uninspired I’ve seen the Huskies play under UW coach Steve Sarkisian.

Some here in the press box remarked it’s as lethargic an effort they’ve seen the UW play EVER.

Apparently, Sarkisian told sideline reporter Elise Woodward it was the worst half of offensive football he’s ever been associated with.

Two more touchdown runs by the Cardinal – 3-yard scampers apiece by Stepfan Taylor and Tyler Gaffney – and Stanford scored on its first four possessions of the game.

The only real downer for Stanford was Nate Whitaker’s missed 40-yard field goal – his first misfire of the season after starting 11-for-11.

THe Huskies had one first down in the quarter – on Jake Locker’s 19-yard strike to Jermaine Kearse. After that, they had two three-and-out drives.

Stanford has 318 yards; UW 35.
