Seahawks Insider

  1. The Seahawks official injury report for Thursday is out, and it includes a new name — tight end Zach Miller, listed as not participating due to a hamstring injury.

Miller had been a full participant on Wednesday, and since coach Pete Carroll did not speak after practice it’s unclear the details on this, or if it will impact his ability to play Sunday at Indianapolis.

  2. Kingpear says:

Unger not good news, but I would rather have him healed up now than it get worse and lose him at the end of the season. Besides, if I recall, the Colts try to bring more outside pressure. I am more worried about the tackles than the center.

  3. MoSeahawk12 says:

True Kingpear, and our backup center did pretty well outside of one poor exchange and one non snap if I remember. I was actually more concerned with the section about Miller having a bad hamstring. That causes additional issues.

  4. Lem did OK at HOU, in case Unger can’t play at Indy.

  5. Willson played pretty well at HOU, too.

I hope i don’t get sick after flushing my truck radiator in the snow for a few hours yesterday. I missed all the infighting yesterday, actually i didn’t miss it at all. We went from summer to winter in about a week, which is normal around here, sometimes we get 2 weeks of spring so not much to complain about. Another year without floods or tornadoes, the only thing to worry about here is the fact that i live down the road from one of the worlds biggest volcanoes (Yellowstone). If it does explode i’ll be covered with ash within seconds, i want to be discovered in a couple thousand years with a remote in one hand and a beer in the other Pompeii style. Back to football.
Seattle has the best team it’s ever fielded, if we had an O-line Lynch would probably lead the league in TD’s. It seems that we need a real troll, Yank is still a fan for what it’s worth, you guys shouldn’t waste all that effort, Were on a SB run and it’s awesome after the last decade of being mediocre or worse. I know that i’m rambling because i woke up too early again. It’s amazing how having a good team can lift your spirits. Todd’s doing a good job of keeping the content rolling.

  7. montanamike2 says:

Yankita you should put more effort into not rubbing people the wrong way, i have to give you credit for being thick skinned, but a lot of people here want to like you and your opinions are valid, we all disagree on things and you provide some good links from time to time. If you make guarantees then you have all the credibility of Rex Ryan. I’m wrong regularly but hit right sometimes. We have too much to optimistic about for all this infighting.

  8. SandpointHawk says:

Mike I can go for your scenario with a small addition…

“I want to be discovered in a couple thousand years with a remote in one hand and a beer in the other Pompeii style..wearing a Seahawk jersey and hat….”

  9. seahawkfan97 says:

sandpoint…I was thinking the same thing…Mike I got a friend from here in the Columbia gorge who just got kicked out of Yellowstone due to the govt being shut down, then they broke down somewhere there close to you. Heck of a vacation. I agree with whomever said it recently that we made a mistake in cutting helfet (both of them tight ends) although the braintrust expected one of them to be on the practice squad. Sure got a lot of hammy injuries this year!!! I still ama mazed the Bennett is full participation..I thought his neck was broke when it happened..We and Michael sure dodged a bullet there and maybe Ken Norton Sr. was watching over the hawks as sherm said.

  10. montanamike2 says:

I agree with the hat and jersey SandpointHawk, if congress didn’t get paid when the govt. shuts down i doubt that would happen again. I was worried that Bennett was going to be ineffective when i learned of his rotator cuff injury, the fact that he’s even playing after last week is a small miracle in itself.

  11. Miller being unable to play and/or gimpy is disastrous, esp with McQ at LT and Sweezy inexplicably not riding the pine.

  12. sluggo42 says:

I expect Bowie plays a better game today, Worried about McQ though. I wonder if Cable spent the week on stunt recognition with Carp and Sweezy.

Other side of the coin, if they just decide to jam the ball down their throats and run it 50 times, that keeps Luck off the field, and utilizes our strengths. Carp and Sweez are both run blockers, so run the dam ball.
