The King County Prosecutor’s office will not file charges today regarding the domestic dispute Seattle Seahawks linebacker Leroy Hill was allegedly involved in this week.

However, the investigation remains ongoing, and a decision on whether Hill will be charged will be made at a later date, according to Dan Donohoe, a spokesperson for the King County Prosecutor’s office.

Hill posted bail, which was set at $150,000, on Thursday and was released at about 7:45 p.m. yesterday.

Seems like it not as cut and dried as some of our posters seem to think…smells fishy…

  2. Also there is the fact that the girlfriend can get more by dropping things and letting him play than by putting Hill’s butt in jail. It would seem thats what happened last time around.

Wish I wasnt so cynical. I sincerely hope the charges are fabricated. I’d hate to think of a Seahawk behaving as Hill is alleged to have behaved.

IMO, too much smoke over the years not to be some fire where Hill is concerned.

I think we can say it seems he’s guilty of at least having bad taste in women, if he truly was innocent in both cases.

  4. I’ve always been a big Leroy Hill fan, and for that reason I wish he’d get some kind of psychological/counseling help, purely for his own sake. These are just not good situations to get into, whether it’s your fault or someone else’s. Find a good counselor, Leroy. There’s life after football.

  5. If I look at every isolated incident of Leroy Hill individually, I side with him whether he’s been convicted or not (not). A good case can be made that he’s getting screwed over in each, isolated, incident.

If I look at all the crap seemingly happening with him over and over again, I’m thinking there’s a problem and I’m sickened by it.

Where there’s smoke, there’s usually fire.

  6. I think it’s time to get a photo of Russell Wilson at the top of this page. The Seahawks have played an entire season with different uniforms than what Lynch is wearing in the picture above three years ago. If we want to keep it retro looking, I’m fine with that, but I think that an old photo of Steve Largent would be more fitting.

  7. Don’t know why you guys care so much about the photo on top of the blog. It wouldn’t bother me if it was a pic of Leroy Hill in handcuffs.

Lynch is still the identity of the team.

Bobby, He passed out drunk at an intersection with a joint, behind the wheel. Lol. Not sure he got a bum deal on that arrest.

  10. Bobbyk–Always something new eh?! I respectfully disagree that the banner needs to be changed. BeastQuake is the coolest thing to happen to the Hawks since beating Carolina for the NFC Championship. Who freaking cares that we have new uni’s?! Give me a break!

Lynch is still the heart and soul of this team. Perhaps after next season Wilson will belong up there. Right now, everything is possible through Lynch. He’s the man. And I like the banner as-is.

    My two cents.

  11. Thanks Southendzone – hilarious vid with Sherman. That dude knows how to work hard, play hard, and not take himself too seriously. Man, I wish I was in NOLA this week!
