Rice, five others miss practice

The Seahawks had six players sit out practice due to injury today.

Receiver Sidney Rice (knee), defensive tackle Alan Branch (ankle), defensive tackle Jason Jones (knee), cornerback Walter Thurmond (hamstring), cornerback Marcus Trufant (hamstring) and running back Leon Washington (illness) all did not practice today.

Running back Marshawn Lynch (back) was limited today.

For San Francisco, linebacker Clark Haggans (shoulder) and defensive tackle Justin Smith (elbow) did not practice.

Linebacker Ahmad Brooks (shoulder), cornerback Tarell Brown (shoulder), linebacker Tavares Gooden (ribs), receiver Mario Manningham (shoulder), running back Bruce Miller (shoulder), linebacker Aldon Smith (shoulder) and defensive tackle Will Tukuafu (concussion) were limited in practice today.

Kicker David Akers (pelvis), offensive guard Alex Boone (knee), linebacker Navorro Bowman (Shoulder), running back Frank Gore (wrist), offensive guard Mike Iupati (shoulder), cornerback Carlos Rogers (knee) and linebacker Patrick Willis (shoulder) were full participants.

  1. I doubt it will happen but it sure would be nice to see Thurmond starting Sunday.

    Time for Baldwin to have his breakout game this year.

    I will second that. Georgia. Baldwin is ready for his big game. Hopefully he will see a few more targets going forward. Butler too!
