Good stuff as always E. Not sure if it is intentional on Mr. Barrentines part but I appreciate the countdown at the start of your video features as it gives people time to adjust the volume before getting blown out by the music.

Love hearing that Cable’s reputation and recommendation to Gallery is what got him here. I didn’t realize that he never visited the facility before signing, I just assumed he did. A man that commands that much respect from his players is exactly who we want in the locker room and in their faces on the field. Great addition by Carroll and the front office.

I love Cable and his old school mentality. He was actually doing a good job in Oakland but success seems counter intuitive for Davis anymore.
I cant ever remember Seattle being such a coveted destination for FA’s. even at the height of Holmgrens Tenure it seemed as if we had to pull teeth and over pay to get guys to come here. and now you have guys like Osi listing the Hawks as one the places he wants to get traded too. changed culture indeed.

  4. Dukeshire says:

Let’s hope Gallery can stay healthy this year so he’ll actually be on the field, helping these younger guys. On paper, I love the o-line.

I can’t wait for the first preseason game next week. So many new players to watch and some great position battles in the secondary (corner and safety) and at LB.

I really hope we land Zach Miller!I think he’s gonna choose Oakland, but if he chooses the Hawk what an addition.I would also love to keep Carlson.People tend to bash him for having a bad year when it really wasn’t his fault.Look at the 2yrs before that.Like BobbyA the stats don’t like lol

  6. mojjonation says:

It doesn’t matter how good or great of a coach Cable is. He still busted a guys jaw in Oakland and had every woman he had ever dated come out and say he has anger and control issues. The Hawks sold out when they brought him in. The fact that Gallery signed just because Cable was here does speak volumes. But his off the field issues wouldn’t be tolerated if he was a player.

  7. hawkfaninoklahoma says:

wow can not believe you are acusing the hawks of selling out to bring Cable in.
ex’s will say whatever they think gets them an atvantage, you know they got paid for thier stories.unless there is proof do’nt be so quick to judge. as far as the assistant randy hansen, i went to school with him he was and is a prick disrespectful and antagonistic. he would say things to people you just don’t say.
my response when i heard about it was”good for cable” you also notice the nfl did not do anything to cable:?
don’t be so quick to judge people based on biased reports with nothing to back them up but he said she said bs.

  8. To: hawkfaninoklamoma,
Good for you,I agree with you 100% the nearminded people are always jumping
to something that is untrue,or part true. They only go on hearsay, not truth.

The OL will be truly great to watch them develop into a unit this season. I expect to see OL get beat on, but we will slowly see glimmers of excellence. Please people, this is the year you all need to have patience. Don’t be looking for the coaches head – it will be 2012-2013 before the offense will click. I just wish the rookie franchise QB would be here now to gel with the team. Have to wait to next year..

Now I wish we had more to talk/read about on our DL..
