There are several pro days this week that you’ll want to keep an eye on, starting with top-rated cornerback Patrick Peterson at LSU’s pro day today.

Florida offensive lineman Maurice Pouncey will have his pro day on Tuesday. Florida State quarterback Christian Ponder will work out for scouts at his school’s pro day on Wednesday.

Missouri quarterback Blaine Gabbert works out for scouts at his school on Thursday. And defensive lineman Muhammad Wilkerson will workout during his school’s pro day on Friday.

Check out the full list of pro days by clicking here.

Seattle punter Jon Ryan tells his hometown paper the Regina Leader-Post that he plans to continue working out down in Phoenix during the lockout.

Tony Pauline of DraftInsider.net says Colorado cornerback Jimmy Smith has dropped off of several teams’ draft board because of character issues. Several mock drafts have Smith as Seattle’s pick at No. 25. Pauline also reports that Alabama offensive lineman James Carpenter is heading up draft boards, and is now seen as an early second round pick.

Michael Lombardi of the NFL Network takes a look at impact players set to hit free agency in this video link.

Here’s the list of free agents.

Pat Kirwan of the NFL Network gives Seattle cornerback Jimmy Smith and TCU offensive tackle Marcus Cannon in his two-round mock draft.

Peter King of Sports Illustrated breaks down the terms of the final agreement left on the table by the owners before the players voted to decertify. King says the owners significantly stepped up their offer, but did not go far enough for a deal to be struck between the two sides.

Andrew Brandt of the National Football Post, who I think has done the best job of breaking down the labor talks into simple language, outlines what’s ahead for owners and players in courtroom.

Couldn’t agree more, Eric; Brandt is great. That piece is a must read, IMO.

Portland St. had their pro-day last week. Such a small campus and they play basically at a high school, I should have gone. Could not have been hard to get it. (Most were there to see Julius Thomas, TE and Demario Ballard, W Wash WR. 6’5″ 219 and ran a 4.48 40…) Anyway, next year.

For any in the Spokane / Cheney area April 1st E Wash has their pro day. You could see Taiwan Jones work out. He’s an interesting RB. He’s had injury issues but has NFL talent.

Hey Eric the Pat Kirwin link isn’t working correctly. It keeps going to the FA link at least for me right now.
