Fisher, Darby prevail among ironmen

Starting defensive linemen Bryce Fisher and Chuck Darby led a group of nine players who participated in every full-squad practice since training camp opened July 29 at Eastern Washington University. The seven other players who made it through the more than 80 practices without missing: TE Will Heller, LG Rob Sims, LB Kevin Bentley, SS Oliver Celestin, QB David Greene, K Josh Brown and P Ryan Plackemeier. Fisher has started every game. Darby has started all but two. Sims has started the last two games.


Several more players haven’t missed a practice during the regular season. That list includes MLB Lofa Tatupu and DE Grant Wistrom. Players missing the most full-squad practices since camp opened: WR Darrell Jackson (47), TE Jerramy Stevens (42), DT Rocky Bernard (38), DE Joe Tafoya (34), C Robbie Tobeck (32) and LG Floyd Womack (29).
