I’ll be leaving for Kirkland shortly. Wish me luck. Conference calls with the Broncos are scheduled for around 11. Mike Holmgren’s press conference is set for noon. Practice is scheduled for 1:30, as usual. We’ll provide the usual updates, assuming traffic allows us to get there in time. UPDATE, 10:08 a.m.: Made it to Kirkland. Love that carpool lane.

ESPN reported Matt Hasselbeck broke a fingure on his left hand. Hmmm. He should be fine.

  2. D_Master says:

    check that.. FINGER..
I don’t like that fact that I can’t fix spelling errors. Of course, if I read my post before posting it, that would most likely help

i was just wondering about the headline for answer’s to our questions. your already on 63 and eventually you will have answered our questions hundreds of times. i just thought it would look funny to see “answers to your questions Vol. 546″

  4. The PI is reporting that Hasselbeck’s finger may not be broken. See this link:

    http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/football/294030_hawk29.html

That would be great news, if true.

  5. Mike, do they inform you as to who these conference calls will be? I know that you requested Cutler, but do you know for sure that it will or won’t be him before the calls take place? I’m mainly asking because it would be interesting to know how many back up questions you have in case it’s not him, and how many questions are thought up almost off the cuff during these calls.

  6. jgg007: That would be great news and I hope that is the case – Clare Farnsworth is usually correct.

Mike: Is it worth anything to look back at the Rams-Broncos game in Week 1 to see how the Rams beat them or has Denver changed enough for that not to matter? It just seems like the Rams do not have the talent to stop the Broncos and yet they forced 5 turnovers. Maybe just a bad game for Plummer, like many I guess.

  7. D_Master: We had the finger situation on the blog yesterday.

  8. This may have been answered before, but just out of curiosity Mike: what kind of Internet connection do you have? Did you choose sides in the Cingular vs. Sprint war?

  9. I don’t know if you browse around the net or even if you like people posting other websites on your blog…….

    But i like this site….

Did You Know? Jay Cutler will be the fourth rookie to start a game in the NFL this season. The previous three were a combined 0-3.

Did You Know? Seahawks quarterbacks have turned it over 21 times through 11 games this year; they only had 30 turnovers in the 2004 and 2005 regular seasons combined.

Did You Know? Coach Mike Shanahan has never started a rookie quarterback in his NFL head-coaching tenure, but Jay Cutler will get the nod on Sunday. The last rookie QB to start for Denver was Tommy Maddox, who coach Dan Reeves tabbed to fill in for an injured John Elway in 1992.

I think adding info like this is better than message board banter. What say you?

fatejd- A question I can actually answer! Mike has a Cingular account because back in the day AT&T was one of the only companies that offered anytime-anywhere minutes, which Mike needs because of the travel, for a decent price. He stayed with them when Cingular bought them out.

We have wireless DSL so Mike can sit on any of the couches or chairs around the house while blogging. Thankfully I have my own computer otherwise I would never get any net time.
