Another football recruiting commit for the Huskies

The infamous “Woof” tweet went out from the @CoachSark twitter feed last night and like the Bat Signal, both Dawgman.com and RealDawg.com sprung into action. To find out who committed to the Huskies.

And no, I really don’t care, who had it first.

Both sites reported that it was running back Psalm Wooching of Kealakehe High in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, who committed.

Who wouldn’t like to be in Kona right now?

KeiVarae Russell chooses Notre Dame over Washington

The “fence” around the state of Washington that head coach Steve Sarkisian boasted of building to keep in-state recruits in seems to have a few holes in it.

For the third time this season, the Huskies have lost out on a high-profile in-state recruit as Mariner running back KeiVarae Russell announced today that he will attend Notre Dame next fall. Russell had narrowed his choices down to the Irish and the Huskies.

That means, Washington has now lost out on Tacoma Baptist offensive tackle Walker Williams, who committed to Wisconsin, and Puyallup offensive
