Lorenzo Romar postgame video and quotes

Washington Head Coach Lorenzo Romar

Opening Statement:

With the exception of Washington State playing against Arizona in the last game, this is kind of how their games have gone for them. They’ve competed extremely hard and fallen short down the stretch that’s kind of what happened here today. We are aware of that and we knew we had to come out and play really good. “This is hard to do if you lose seven out of eight, but we have to go out and play with confidence on both sides,” Romar said.

In the video above, he talks about

The postgame discussions didn’t revolve around panic, but words we hadn’t heard yet this year were being used.

After being swept out of Los Angeles, Washington has lost six of seven games. Washington head coach Lorenzo Romar said after the UCLA loss he was concerned about his team discarding it before the USC game. Washington was off to a putrid start Sunday night, but Romar said afterward he didn’t think the UCLA loss had anything to with it on the way to a 71-60 loss to USC.
