UW’s Timu, A. Hudson, Hatchie, Dixon to play in NFLPA Collegiate Bowl

Four Huskies players have committed to play in the 2015 NFLPA Collegiate Bowl: linebacker John Timu, offensive lineman Micah Hatchie, defensive end Andrew Hudson and cornerback Travell Dixon.

The game will be held at 1 p.m. on Jan. 17 at the StubHub Center in Carson, Calif. ESPN2 will have the telecast.

Danny Shelton, Hau’oli Kikaha, Shaq Thompson each named first-team All-Pac-12

Three Huskies were named first-team All-Pac-12 on Tuesday night — senior nose tackle Danny Shelton, senior outside linebacker Hau’oli Kikaha, and junior linebacker Shaq Thompson.

Thompson is a double-honoree, earning a first-team nod on defense and on special teams as an all-purpose player.

UW’s honorable mention selections are freshman safety Budda Baker, senior offensive tackle Micah Hatchie, senior defensive end Andrew Hudson, sophomore return specialist John Ross III, senior center Colin Tanigawa, senior linebacker John Timu and sophomore kicker Cameron Van Winkle. Read more »
