It’s a beautiful day here in Eugene, so I took a little walking tour of Autzen Stadium. Here’s the view walking up from the main entrance, than looking out toward tailgating and, finally, from the press box:
Washington made a few adjustments in this week’s depth chart. Kendyl Taylor made his debut as a running back last week against Stanford and has been elevated to the No. 2 running back. Offensive lineman Ben Riva, who fractured his forearm against San Diego State, is back on the depth chart as an “or” at right tackle. Here’s this week’s depth chart and game notes:
Thanks to Thursday’s upset, the Huskies are back in the top 25. Washington is ranked 23rd in the Associated Press poll and is just on the outside, leading “others receiving votes,” in the USA Today coaches poll.
What do you think was the problem with the passing game? I know the protection was great all night. The guys up front did a really good job. I know that I needed to make a lot of those throws. I feel like I let a few of the guys down tonight. They were running great routes.
