No major changes. Dwayne Washington is listed as the starting tailback, followed by Deontae Cooper and Lavon Coleman. Junior offensive guard Dexter Charles is still listed as the backup to Siosifa Tufunga, and John Ross III is still listed as a starting cornerback and backup receiver. Ben Riva is listed as the third-string right tackle behind James Atoe and Coleman Shelton. Read more »
One change to the depth chart, though it was already reflected during Washington’s game against Arizona State — Siosifa Tufunga is now listed ahead of Dexter Charles at left guard. Charles has a foot injury and did not suit up against ASU.
At tailback, Deontae Cooper and Lavon Coleman are listed together with an “OR” tag.
Here’s Washington’s official depth chart heading into the Stanford game. There are no significant changes. Note that sophomore John Ross is still listed in his usual spots as a backup receiver and starting kick returner, for what that’s worth (probably not much, to be honest). Ross didn’t play against Georgia State due to a leg injury, and he is “week to week,” coach Chris Petersen said.
Here’s Washington’s official depth chart for its game Saturday against Georgia State. You’ll see junior Marcus Peters listed as one of the starting cornerbacks, though he was also listed there last week and obviously didn’t play in Saturday’s game. Perhaps coach Chris Petersen will shed some more light on that situation at his press conference later this afternoon. Freshman Sidney Jones, who made his first career start against Illinois, is listed as the other starting cornerback, in place of the injured Jermaine Kelly (ankle).
Kasen Williams is also listed as a starter at receiver for the first time this season, …
There is only one change to the Huskies’ depth chart this week, and that’s Darrell Daniels and Michael Hartvigson being listed atop the tight end depth. Josh Perkins, who was listed as the starter heading into last week, did not play on Saturday and is presumed injured. We’ll hopefully get some kind of update from coach Chris Petersen later today at his Monday afternoon press conference.
Also, Dante Pettis is now listed as the starting punt returner.
