PLAYERS OF THE GAME: Washington’s Perris Blackwell and C.J. Wilcox each provided double-doubles. Blackwell scored 17 points and Wilcox 15. Both had 10 rebounds – marking a career high for Wilcox.
IT WAS OVER WHEN: The score was tied 56-56 less than 13 minutes from the end. Then Washington went on an 18-0 run that finally finished the Delta Devils.
STATS OF THE GAME: The Huskies out-rebounded the smaller Devils, 51-29. Meanwhile, Mississippi Valley hit only 12 of 24 free throws.
