As noted on Twitter by Murray State play-by-play man Neal Bradley, former Washington Huskies defensive end Marcus Farria, a sophomore, is now on the Racers’ official roster.

Here’s Farria’s bio over on Murray State’s website. Murray State is a member of the Ohio Valley Conference, which competes in the Football Championship Subdivision. Farria’s eligibility status is unclear, though players who transfer from FBS to FCS schools typically aren’t subject to the NCAA transfer rule requiring a player to sit out a season.

Farria was dismissed from the UW program by coach Chris Petersen shortly before the beginning of fall camp for a violation of team standards. He recorded 2.5 sacks and seven tackles as a freshman in 2013.
