The Huskies begin their closed practice schedule today with a 10 a.m. practice at Husky Stadium. We’ll be able to talk with players and coaches afterward, but for now, here are links.

We had this story today looking at a few position battles — other than quarterback — to watch over the next two weeks.

The Huskies are ranked No. 25 in the preseason AP poll.

Washington State’s practice was a little sloppy.

Arizona is “all in” with its diverse roster.

Arizona State checked in at No. 19 in the preseason AP poll.

UCLA is playing a different chess game this season.

USC says it doesn’t care about rankings.

— Oregon says it is happy to reimburse the families of players who take out insurance policies.

— Colorado is ready to set Bellarmine Prep product Sefo Liufau loose.

Some notes from California’s practices.
