Oregon picked to win Pac-12; Huskies picked third in North

The Pac-12 preseason media poll was revealed this morning, and as expected, Oregon was the overwhelming pick to win the conference championship.

Washington was picked to finish third in the North, and Washington State was picked to finish fifth. UCLA was picked to win the South division.

Here’s how it shook out (first-place votes in parentheses):

NORTH

1. Oregon (37) 232

2. Stanford (2) 192

3. Washington 142

4. Oregon State 125

5. Washington State 87

6. California 41

SOUTH

1. UCLA (37) 231

2. USC (1) 181

3. Arizona State (1) 163

4. Arizona 119

5. Utah 82

6. Colorado 43

Oregon received 24 votes as the Pac-12 championship game winner. UCLA received 13, and Stanford and USC received one each.
