Three of yesterday’s four NCAA tournament games involved Pac-12 teams, but only Arizona emerged victorious. Stanford and UCLA each lost. Here are links.

— Arizona’s Sweet 16 game against San Diego State was what most thought it would be — a tough defensive battle between two teams pretty similar in style. But the Wildcats scored 42 points in the second half and pulled away down the stretch for a 70-64 victory. They advance to face Wisconsin for a spot in the Final Four.

— It didn’t go so well for Stanford, which trailed Dayton throughout the second half of an 82-72 loss in the Sweet 16.

— UCLA couldn’t pull off the upset over No. 1 seed Florida, falling 79-68.

Washington State began spring football practice yesterday.
