Multiple outlets are now reporting that Fife High School offensive lineman Kaleb McGary, one of the top in-state prospects this season, has given an oral commitment to play football for Washington.

Dawgman.com and 247Sports both reported McGary’s commitment.

It’s a big get for coach Chris Petersen and the UW staff. McGary is the third 4-star prospect to make public his intentions of playing for UW — San Jose quarterback K.J. Carta-Samuels and Bellflower, Calif., cornerback Naijiel Hale are the other two. Bellevue athlete Budda Baker, the top recruit in the Northwest, will announce Wednesday whether he’ll sign with UW or UCLA.

UW’s signing day press conference with Petersen is scheduled for 3 p.m. Wednesday.

According to Scout.com, McGary is the No. 27 offensive lineman in the 2014 class. He chose UW over Washington State and Wisconsin. If you’re interested in his highlights, here they are.
