Boise State has finally given Washington a taste of its own recruiting medicine.
Chase Blakley, a 3-star tight end prospect from Coeur d’Alene, tweeted on Tuesday that instead of playing for Washington, he plans instead to sign with Boise State.
I want to say thank you to the University of Washington for the opportunities that they given me. I wish them the best of luck in the future— Chase Blakley (@chase_blake208) January 29, 2014
I have committed to Boise State University!!! #GoBroncos— Chase Blakley (@chase_blake208) January 29, 2014
UW has “flipped” five recruits its way after those players originally said they planned to play for Chris Petersen at Boise State, but Blakley is the first player coach Bryan Harsin and his staff have been able to flip their way. Blakley is ranked the No. 15 tight end in the 2014 recruiting class by Scout.com, and also lists an offer from Florida, among others.
