It was a big day for Nigel Williams-Goss. It was a bigger day for Terrence Ross. More on that in our links.

Here’s our game story from UW’s win over Oregon State, during which Williams-Goss set a single-game UW freshman scoring record. Lorenzo Romar also notched his 250th career victory, and C.J. Wilcox became the seventh player in school history to score 1,700 point (in his career. Not in the game).

Here is our postgame recap box.

— And game stories from The Seattle Times, the UW Daily, the Associated Press and the Oregonian.

Terrence Ross was the big story in the NBA yesterday, as the former UW guard tied a Toronto Raptors record by scoring 51 points. He made 10 3-pointers. Not bad.

— One other Pac-12 game yesterday, as Arizona State hammered Colorado, 72-51, in Tempe. Jahii Carson had a big game and reached a milestone in the process.

There are four Pac-12 games today …

— Stanford will try to remain a member of the 3-loss club when it visits USC today (2 p.m., Pac-12 Networks).

— Oregon tries to snap a 5-game losing streak when it visits struggling Washington State today (4 p.m., Pac-12 Networks).

— Utah takes its turn at trying to knock off unbeaten Arizona (5 p.m., FOX Sports 1).

— California, fresh off a loss at USC, has another tough game at UCLA (5 p.m., ESPNU).
