Yet another player previously committed to another school has announced his decision to play football for Washington.
Shane Bowman, whom Scout.com lists as a defensive end/tight end prospect from Bellevue High School, tweeted earlier today that he is no longer “committed” to Oregon State, and has instead decided that he will play for the Huskies.
I have decommited from Oregon State-Coach Riley and Coach Joe are tremendous people with a great program but just not the perfect fit for me— Shane Bowman (@shanebowman54) January 20, 2014
With that being said I have committed to the University of Washington— Shane Bowman (@shanebowman54) January 20, 2014
Here’s Bowman’s bio from Scout.com. That site considers him a 3-star prospect and the No. 83 defensive end prospect in the country. Bowman took his official visit to UW during the weekend, and becomes the 13th prospect in the 2014 class to make public his intentions to play football for UW.
