David Crisp, a point guard at Rainier Beach, tweeted yesterday that he plans to play basketball for the Washington Huskies.
Though he’s a senior, Crisp plans to attend prep school for a year after high school, so he’s classified in the class of 2015.
Here’s a story with some additional quotes from Scout.com.
Crisp, who won’t be the only member of that Rainier Beach team to play Division-1 basketball, is rated as a 3-star prospect by Scout.com. As you can see, his bio lists offers from Texas A&M, Boise State, Nebraska and Providence.
Crisp is one of three Rainier Beach players who have been offered by UW — junior Djounte Murray and senior Djuan Piper are the others — so Lorenzo Romar has to like that he already has a commitment from one of them.
