FROM SAN FRANCISCO — For those of you who have today off from work, here’s to hoping you don’t have to spend too much time cleaning up wrapping paper, so you can use that time to help configure XBoxes and put together doll houses.

We simply put together some links, which may or may not be as entertaining as Madden 25. Marques Tuiasosopo and Bronco Mendenhall will meet with reporters later this morning, so we’ll be back after that.

— Here’s our story about the Huskies’ trip to Glide Memorial Church yesterday to help serve Christmas meals.

— The Seattle Times on Marcus Peters, who like close friend Marshawn Lynch brought his game from Oakland to Seattle.

— Larry Stone writes about UW’s search for normalcy.

The UW Daily takes a look at BYU.

— The UW men’s basketball team reportedly picked up a commitment from Quevyn Winters, a 6-foot-6 guard who began his college career at Duquesne before transferring to a junior college as a sophomore.

— This is completely unrelated to UW football, but it’s an outstanding story you won’t regret watching.
