Yesterday’s news is this morning’s links …

— Budda Baker, the star defensive back/athlete from Bellevue, announced on Twitter yesterday that he plans to play for Oregon next season. Add his name alongside Josh Garnett and Myles Jack (and a few others) as local players the Huskies wanted badly but didn’t get (assuming Baker does, indeed, sign with Oregon).

— According to this report from Fox Sports, UW tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins received a second-round grade from the NFL draft advisory committee.

— The Seattle Times on the uncertainty of potential sanctions for UW.

— The New York Times looks at the situation from a USC perspective.

— According to the Los Angeles Times, Steve Sarkisian addressed the issue with players’ parents during a meeting. Also, the story notes that USC officials weren’t scheduled to attend Friday’s meeting between Mike Davis and UW officials.
