Washington appears to have lost out on another highly-touted, in-state recruit.
Bellevue defensive back Budda Baker, widely considered the top prospect in the Northwest for the class of 2014, announced on his Twitter account today that he intends to play football at Oregon next season.

It’s a big loss for the Huskies, who were being considered by Baker along with Oregon and UCLA. Baker was voted the Associated Press and News Tribune Player of the Year for all classifications in the state of Washington, and was good enough at Bellevue that the school announced plans to retire his jersey.
Baker is rated a 4-star prospect by Scout.com, and ranked as the No. 4 safety prospect in the country.
