As Scout.com and other recruiting sites reported earlier today, safety prospect JoJo McIntosh (Chaminade College Prep, West Hills, Calif.) on Tuesday announced an oral commitment to play football for the Washington Huskies.

McIntosh, listed at 6-foot-1, 180 pounds, previously committed to UCLA. He was recruited at Boise State by new UW coach Chris Petersen, who obviously came back into the picture when he left for Washington.

McIntosh is the third player to make known his intent to play for Petersen and UW. He gives the Huskies eight known oral commitments in the 2014 class. Scout.com rates McIntosh as a 3-star prospect, and ranks him No. 34 among all safety recruits.
