We’re back in the friendly confines of the media room at Husky Stadium, where the Huskies are back to practice after a few days off.
Didn’t see anything out of the ordinary this morning in regards to UW’s assistant coaching staff. Everyone who hasn’t yet left for USC is here — Marques Tuiasosopo (wearing the head coach’s whistle this time), Justin Wilcox, Tosh Lupoi, Dan Cozzetto, Eric Kiesau and Jordan Paopao. Looks as if graduate assistants will play a bigger role in the coming weeks, with Peter Sirmon (linebackers), Johnny Nansen (running backs) and Keith Heyward (defensive backs) all off to USC. We’ll ask about their duties after practice today, as we have our first media availability since Steve Sarkisian left for USC.
Keith Price made some throws during the 20-minute period open to media, and looked fine. Freshman safety Kevin King is wearing a yellow, no-contact jersey, and it looked like offensive lineman Dexter Charles was doing some stuff on his own off to the side. Wasn’t wearing yellow, though.
