It was a busy day of handshakes and a bunch of the same questions over and over and over again for Chris Petersen yesterday. Don’t worry: I hear he’s being compensated relatively well for his time. Anyway, we have a bunch of links to pass along, so we’ll get to it.

— Here’s our main story from yesterday, focusing on Petersen stepping out of his comfort zone while still remaining comfortable.

— John McGrath writes that Petersen is about more than just trick plays, as cool as those might be.

— Check out the details of Petersen’s memorandum of understanding.

— Jerry Brewer writes that Petersen seems like an ideal fit for the Huskies.

— Here’s the AP’s story from yesterday’s events.

— The Idaho Statesman reports that UW defensive coordinator Justin Wilcox is in the mix for the Boise State head coaching job. Dirk Koetter and Bryan Harsin have also interviewed, according to the Statesman.

— Check out the stuff bowl participants will receive as free gifts this season.

Petersen, beating Oregon, etc.
