Multiple outlets, including Joe Schad of ESPN.com, are reporting that Steve Sarkisian has accepted the head coaching position at USC and will leave Washington. We have yet to confirm on our end.

It was reported this morning that Sarkisian interviewed for the job over the weekend, but he said during his weekly radio appearance on Sports Radio KJR that while he met with USC athletic director Pat Haden, he didn’t classify it as a job interview.

Will update when we know more.

  1. DEUCES! get Mora on the horn STAT

  2. Hope they don’t let him coach whatever bowl game they play.

  3. It is being reported that Boise State’s Chris Petersen was a top candidate for the USC job, but withdrew from consideration. I have my fingers crossed that maybe he will consider the UW job.
