Another close win at home over a mid-major opponent last night for the Huskies, but they’ll take it after losing twice in New York last weekend. Take these links, too.

Here’s our story from UW’s 83-79 basketball victory over Montana last night.

And here’s our football story, updating the status of quarterback Keith Price.

— The Seattle Times on John Ross, the triple threat.

— Some Pac-12 power rankings from the UW Daily.

— Steve Sarkisian goes back a ways with WSU receivers coach Dennis Simmons.

— Both head coaches in this game are looking for the next step.

— USA Today projects Washington to the Fight Hunger Bowl.

  1. The link to the USA Today story projecting the Huskies will play in the Fight Hunger Bowl takes me to The Olympian’s story titled “Huskies men win despite more poor defense on court.”

BTW, I am hungry for a bowl game better than the Fight Hunger Bowl.
