He can’t sign until February of 2015, but Marysville-Pilchuk running back Austin Joyner announced via Twitter last night that he intends to play for the Washington Huskies.

Joyner, like defensive lineman Jacob Daniel, who committed to UW last week, is a member of the 2015 recruiting class. He’s rated a 4-star prospect by Scout.com, which reports 2,038 yards and 22 touchdowns on 147 carries as a sophomore in 2012.

Joyner is UW’s third known commitment for the class of 2015. The Huskies have nine known commitments for the class of 2014.

  1. Add on 1,303 yards on 79 carries as a junior. That’s a healthy 16.5 yards per carry.
