Washington’s frontcourt depth took another hit on Sunday when it was announced that 6-foot-9 senior forward Perris Blackwell won’t play against Seattle University as he recovers from a concussion.
Blackwell apparently suffered the concussion during Wednesday’s exhibition against Central Washington, and hasn’t quite been cleared yet.
Shawn Kemp will start in his place. The Huskies are already without junior forward Desmond Simmons, who had arthroscopic knee surgery last week and will be out until at least mid-December.
Washington and Seattle U tip off at 7 p.m.
