It was a quiet Saturday on Montlake with Washington on a bye week, but there is some Pac-12 action to wrap up in today’s morning links.

— We wrote today about Courtney Thompson, the former UW volleyball star whose jersey will be retired at intermission of the Huskies’ match against Colorado this afternoon.

UCLA plodded past Colorado, 45-23, at the Rose Bowl yesterday. Brett Hundley played better, but the opponent wasn’t very good.

— The Buffaloes hung in the game longer than most expected, but the final result was unsurprising.

— It was a struggle, but Arizona escaped Berkeley with a 33-28 victory over California.

— It was another loss for California, but the Bears’ defense and offensive line improved, at least.

— USC’s secondary stepped up in its Friday win at Oregon State.

— Oregon coach Mark Helfrich talks about the Ducks’ upcoming game against Stanford.

— Oregon State missed a bunch of tackles in its loss to USC.

— Utah’s coaches are hitting the recruiting trail during their bye week.

— Washington State has two weeks before its next game.

— Looking back at Arizona State’s win over WSU.
