It’s time to pass along our morning links, which usually are written some time before midnight and scheduled for 6 a.m. This time, we’re writing them at about 2 a.m. So here you go.

Here’s our game story, updated with quotes from Steve Sarkisian. And here’s a notebook that we had to file at halftime for deadline purposes, but was fortunately updated later.

— John McGrath wrote this column suggesting Husky Stadium’s field be named in honor of Don James.

— The Seattle Times: Bishop Sankey and Keith Price led UW to victory.

— The UW Daily: This was a beat-down.

— The Everett Herald: UW honored Don James by beating the Bears.

Cal had no answer for Sankey.

— Cal still can’t figure out how to play a complete game.

That’s all for now.
