The NCAA released its most recent graduation success data earlier today, and Washington’s football team ranks third in the Pac-12 with a GSR of 74. The Huskies trail Stanford (93) and UCLA (82).
The numbers listed are for the cohort year 2006, which calculates graduation rates of student athletes who entered the university that year and in each of the three years prior.
Washington’s score of 74 is unchanged from last year. Keep in mind that these numbers differ from the APR, which is an academic progress measurement used to determine whether or not schools are eligible for postseason play.
Here’s what the conference numbers look like, per the NCAA’s GSR Search page. The “FGR” you see listed is the federal graduation rate.
Additionally, the UW men’s basketball team tied for third in the Pac-12 with a GSR of 80 during the same period. Here’s the info for the entire conference.
