Figured we’d also pass along the AP ballot we filed earlier this week that appeared in this morning’s newspaper. Here it is. Previous week’s rank in parentheses.

1. Alabama (1) – Three more yawners before matchup with LSU.

2. Oregon (2) – Huskies will be Ducks’ first real test.

3. Clemson (3) – No chance Tigers are looking ahead to FSU. None.

4. Stanford (4) – This is not a fake ranking.

5. Ohio State (5) – With Northwestern defeated, Buckeyes should cruise ‘til Michigan.

6. Georgia (6) – Back to back classics vs. LSU and Tennessee, and could add another this week vs. good Missouri team.

7. Florida State (8) – Was Maryland overrated, or FSU that good?

8. Louisville (7) – Would be fun to see Cards vs. real opponent.

9. UCLA (9) – Should wipe the field with Cal.

10. Texas A&M (10) – Tricky game in Oxford, but Manziel should rule.

11. LSU (13) – Hosting Florida in SEC’s best game this weekend.

12. South Carolina (11) – To Clowney or not to Clowney?

13. Oklahoma (12) – Sooners can make “Fire Mack Brown” chants even louder this week vs. Texas.

14. Miami (17) – Close-ish game vs. Ga. Tech might have exposed some weaknesses.

15. Michigan (14) – Big Ten schedule will make Wolverines look better than they are.

16. Baylor (19) – Points! Yards! Points!

17. Florida (18) – Brutal stretch next three weeks: LSU, Missouri, Georgia.

18. Washington (16) – Dropped despite close loss because Baylor, Miami deserve kudos for wins.

19. Northwestern (15) – Let opportunity slip away vs. OSU.

20. Texas Tech (20) – Two of next three on the road will be telling.

21. Fresno State (21) – Don’t see a loss on Bulldogs’ remaining schedule.

22. Oklahoma State (22) – Pesky TCU coming to town this weekend.

23. Wisconsin (24) – If Badgers get past Northwestern, 10 wins still possible.

24. Virginia Tech (NR) – Has recovered well from opening-night shellacking against Alabama

25. Northern Illinois (NR) – Makes two Huskies in the top 25
