Natrell Curtis, a 6-foot-2, 300-pound offensive/defensive lineman from Phoenix rated as a 4-star prospect by Scout.com, announced his commitment to Washington on his Twitter page Tuesday morning.

Dawgman.com and ASUDevils.com also reported Curtis’ commitment.

According to Scout.com, Curtis is UW’s ninth known commitment for the class of 2014 — though two of those, WR Erik Brown, and S Drew Lewis from Eastlake High School, are listed as “soft verbals.”

Curtis is No. 69 in the brief highlight video below. Scout.com lists Curtis as an offensive guard, and ranks him as the 15th-best prospect at that position in the country. He is considered a 3-star recruit by Rivals.com.
