A new name at the top.

1. Oregon (2). Cal’s offense will be interesting test for defense after bye week.

2. Stanford (1). Big one early with Arizona State to start conference play.

3. UCLA (3). Rally against Huskers was impressive.

4. Washington (4). It got tight, but Huskies showed road lessons learned.

5. Arizona State (5). Eighth in the country in passing yards per game.

6. Arizona (6). Doesn’t feel like a sturdy 3-0 despite lopsided scores.

7. Oregon State (7). Mannion 12th in country in QB efficiency.

8. Washington State (8). Get to pound on struggling Vandals.

9. USC (9). Handled BC well, facing pretty good Utah State offense.

10. Colorado (10) Paul Richardson Show heads to Corvallis.

11. Cal (11). Imagine what happens when QB Goff gets help.

12. Utah (12) Battle for Utah this weekend vs. BYU.
