Sankey on Doak Walker Award watch list

Washington has another offensive player on a preseason watch list.

Running back Bishop Sankey, who stunned everyone with a potent 1,439-yard season during his first year as the feature back, has been added to the Doak Walker Award watch list.

Like most preseason watch lists, it’s long. Also, keep in mind this list is generated by nominations from the player’s school.
