According to multiple reports, UNLV transfer forward Mike Moser will play for Oregon next season. Moser was considering transferring to Washington, Gonzaga or Oregon.

Moser, a 6-foot-8, 210-pound forward, would have been a huge get for the Huskies. Instead, he becomes another in a recent run of transfers to head to Oregon. The Ducks have had success with big men Olu Ashaolu, Tony Woods and Arsalan Kazemi, plus guard Devoe Joseph.

“The biggest thing for me was the chance to get to play at home,” Moser told The Oregonian.

Now, they add Portland native Moser, who had a quiet year last season (7.1 points, 6.1 rebounds) when he was stuck behind freshman sensation Anthony Bennett, but proved his prior year that he can be a high-end Div. I player when he averaged 14 points and 10.5 rebounds per game.

Moser originally went to UCLA before transferring to UNLV. He has one year of eligibility left and becomes instantly eligible since he is expected to graduate from UNLV.
