Welcome to … the game thread. I’m actually at home and we have other folks in Utah. But, we’ll still talk about the game here as it goes along. Gamethread on the jump:

> Final. BYU wins 90-79 and Washington finishes 18-16. The college careers of Abdul Gaddy, Scott Suggs and Aziz N’Diaye are over.

> Davies crams it and that should do it. Washington on its way to finishing the year 18-16 and bounced in the first round of the NIT.

> BYU still up 78-69 with 3:13 to go.

> Washington is down 78-69 with 3:52 to go. A couple deep 3s from Matt Carlino have vaulted BYU into a comfortable lead. Husies on the cusp of ending the season in Provo.

> Wilcox passes Nate Robinson and moves into 23rd on Washington’s all-time scoring list. The Huskies have moved back into the game and are down 66-61 with 7:40 to go.

> It’s 56-47 now and BYU is rolling. Haws has 29. Suggs is having a terrible night.

> Washington needs another timeout as it falls behind 51-46. The Huskies just turned it over on the inbounds when trying to throw long.

> A physical and bumpy start to the second half. Haws leaks out for a fastbreak layup and Washington calls timeout down 42-39 with 16:19 to go. Wilcox is 2-for-9 and Suggs is 1-for-7.

> Wilcox hits a stepback 3 just before the half to give Washington a 35-33 lead at the break after trailing by as many as seven. Wicox and Suggs combine to go 3-for-14 from the field, yet Washington leads. Washington had 11 assists in the half on 12 made field goals.  Gaddy has five points and six assists at the half. Haws has 17 for BYU.

> Announcers ask where the help defense is. There is none when Kemp is the help side. Huskies lead, though, 30-29, thanks to a couple 3s by Andrew Andrews.

> Wilcox just rang up his first 3-pointer of the night after Washington ran him off several picks. Suggs is 1-for-7 from the field and taken several poor shots. He’s pushed turnovers into 1-on-3 and 1-on-4 challenges that both ended with him getting swatted. BYU leads 24-21 with 6:57 to go in the first half.

> A Haws 3-pointer splashes through and Washington is in trouble early, down 18-11 with 11:19 to go.

> A little surge here form BYU has put it up 15-11. The 9-2 run was started by an unlikely source, Cory Calvert. He plays just seven minutes a game and averages two points. He already has five.

> Aziz N’Diaye with a strong start early. He has six and Brandon Davies is having problems shooting over him. A bit of a manic start and the score is tied 9-9 at the under-16 timeout. Wilcox is yet to get up a shot. Haws, his former AAU teammates and BYU’s leading scorer, is being guarded by Suggs and is 1 for 2 from the field.

> Same starters for Washington: Gaddy, Suggs, Wilcox, Kemp and N’Diaye. BYU with Carlino, Zylstra, Haws, Davies and Austin.
