The final game of the first day at the Pac-12 Tournament is about to tip. Washington State vs. Washington. Game thread on the jump:

> Washington hangs on to win 64-62 as Simmons throws a long pass to Wilcox and he hauls it in to run out the clock.

> Motum forces and leans into Andrews for a 3 and it’s off. Andrews grabs the board and is fouled with 2.7 to go.

> Simmons scored in the paint to put Washington up 64-62. Gaddy missed a deep 3-pointer following a WSU turnover and the Cougars have the ball with 14.5 to go down two.

> Woolridge gets by Suggs and ties it with 2:44 to go, 62-62. Total meltdown here by Washington after being up 19 in the second half.

> Two free throws from D.J. Shelton pulled Washington State to within nine, but Scott Suggs answered with back-to-back 3s to push Washington back up 62-47. Will DiLorio hit a 3-pointer with 7:47 to go, becoming the first Cougar other than Motum, Woolridge or Shelton to score.

> Gaddy up to 10 assists and Washington in control, up 56-42 with 11:50 to go. Only Motum Woolridge and Shelton have scored for WSU. Motum has 20.

> Wilcox hits a corner 3 and Washington has its biggest lead, 48-31, with 15:24 to go.

> Washington gets back-to-back alley-oops for Aziz N’Diaye and Shawn Kemp Jr. But, Woolridge and Motum each hits 3s to keep WSU hanging around. Washington leads 43-31 with 16:55 to go.

> Bone with a priceless reaction to that possession. Washington leads 36-25 at the half. Motum playing very well for the Cougars. Gaddy is outplaying Woolridge, thus far.

> Motum gets a nice pass and scores an and one on the dive. He’ll be going to the line out of the timeout with Washington leading 31-22 with 3:29 to go. D.J. Shelton scored five consecutive points for WSU to help its offense wake up a bit.

> At the under-8 timeout, Washington leads 22-12 in a game that has slowed way down from its brisk offensive start. Brock Motum is 4 for 7 from the field and producing what little offense WSU can muster. Motum has nine. WSU has 12. He’s 4 for 7. Teammates 1 for 8.

> Nine of Washington’s 14 shots have been 3s. Huskies were 10th in conference in league play from 3, shooting 30.5 percent. At the under-12 timeout, Washington leads 18-8 with 10:48 to go.

> After about an hour and a half of no one scoring, Suggs hits a 3. It’s 18-5 Washington with 11:38 to go and Bone goes with a Howland.

> First timeout and Washington off to a good start. Huskies lead 12-5 with 15:38 to go. Huskies on an 8-0 run after starting the game up 4-0. Wilcox and Suggs have each hit 3s. Wilcox missed his first, but swished his second.

> Usual starters for Washington: Gaddy, Suggs, Wilcox, Kemp, N’Diaye.

> We’re a bit delayed here and will be starting around 8:35, 8:40.

> No upsets so far today at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Utah was the lower seed and beat USC, but the Trojans were without two of their 7-footers, so that’s not really an upset with the 10 beating a 7. Arizona State and Colorado advanced.

Some interesting matchups early tomorrow: Arizona State vs. UCLA and Colorado vs. Arizona.
