Welcome to McKale Center for a tip the retired community here in Arizona can’t be happy about. We’re scheduled to get going at 9:10 p.m. local time because the game being played on ESPN prior to Washington/Arizona is going to push us back a bit. When you’re already tipping at 9 p.m., what’s 10 more minutes, eh?

Gamethread on the jump:

> Washington falls to 14-13 overall and 6-8 in Pac-12 play. Arizona is 22-4 and 10-4. After an early second-half run by Arizona, it was all over for Washington.

> Under-4 timeout and Arizona leads 59-45. Mark Lyons has fouled out. Washington has shown some life after being run out of the place earlier in second half.

> Under-8 timeout and Arizona leads 57-38. We have an older gentleman now stripping at midcourt and leading cheers.

> We’re about 15 rows away from Lorenzo Romar and we can see and HEAR him screaming at the team. He just spiked the clipboard.

> Under-12 timeout and Arizona leads 52-32 with 11:56 to go. Mark Lyons is out with four fouls, but it matters little. The Wildcats ran Washington out of the building to start the second half.

> Arizona is up 49-29 and this game is about over with 13 minutes to go in the half.

> Under-16 timeout and it doesn’t feel premature to call the game over. Arizona leads 44-29.

> Halftime. A late run by Arizona put them in front 33-25. A technical on Aziz N’Diaye helped the process. He was called for the T for pushing Kevin Parrom, one of the toughest guys in the league who embellished the call, into the stands. It was N’Diaye’s third personal. C.J. Wilcox has seven points on 3 for 7 shooting and missed two clean looks. Solomon Hill has 14 points and Mark Lyons had 12. Lyons scored 10 points in a 90-second span midway through the half.

> Lyons gets his second as the pace picks up here. We’re at the under-4 and Arizona leads 22-20., repeatedly swatting weak sauce from UW.

> Under-8 timeout and the Huskies lead 13-10. Much like the first game, this is a rock fight.

> Wilcox gets his second and it’s a very dumb one. A little reach on the break with 8:07 left in the half and up five.

> We have crept to the under-12 timeout and it’s 11-8 Washington. Arizona is 3 for 11 from the field and one of those makes is a tip-in by Brandon Ashley when Jernard Jarreau missed a box out.

> Under-16 timeout and Washington off to a strong start. Leads 7-5 with 14:59 to go on a 3 from Wilcox. Arizona is just 2 for 7 from the field with two turnovers.

> Parrom is a change in the starting lineup for Arizona from the first game against Washington. He’s in and big Brandon Ashley is out.

> Usual starters for the Huskies: Gaddy, Suggs, Wilcox, Kemp and N’Diaye. Lyons, Parrom, Johnson, Hill and Tarczewski for Arizona.

> An Arizona representative said all the tickets for the game were claimed, but it’s unlikely all the seats will be filled because of the late tip-off.
