According to numerous recruiting services, including Dawgman.com, 5-foot-11 point guard Jahmel Taylor made a verbal commitment to the Huskies on Monday.

Taylor is rated a two- or three-star prospect, depending on the recruiting service grading him. He’s 160 pounds, from Los Angeles and plays at Pacific Hills High School. Here is his ESPN recruiting bio.

He’s the third player to commit to Washington for the 2013-14 class, joining four-star recruits point guard Nigel Williams-Goss and guard Darin Johnson.

The key to whole class, however, remains Aaron Gordon. He’s cut his list of schools to three: Kentucky, Arizona and Washington. Gordon is a 6-foot-8 forward ranked as the seventh-best player in the country by ESPN. The spring signing period for basketball runs from April 17-May 15.

Both Williams-Goss and Johnson have signed their national letters of intent.
