The start of Terrence Ross’ NBA career had been a quiet one until Tuesday night. Despite being drafted eighth overall by the Toronto Raptors, Ross was playing little. Ross already has seven games where he played eight minutes or less.
But, Tuesday night he played a career-high 36 minutes and scored a career-high 19 points, just his fourth time in double figures this year.
Ross went 9-for-17 Tuesday night, including four enormous jams. Ross’ playing time has suddenly been on the uptick. The last four games, he’s played 15, 17, 21 and 36 minutes.
Maybe he can send some of that game to Tony Wroten who just got assigned to the Grizzlies D-league team.
