Washington cornerback Desmond Trufant was named to the All-Pac-12 first team and tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins was named to the second team in Monday’s Pac-12 Conference awards.

Trufant has 34 tackles, a sack, interception, nine passes defensed and eight pass breakups in his senior season.  His lone interception was against Stanford and sealed the game for Washington.

Seferian-Jenkins broke several Washington tight end records this season. He has 63 catches for 791 yards and 6 TDs. Stanford’s Zach Ertz, a fellow finalist for the John Mackey Award which goes to the best tight end in the country, was named the Pac-12’s first team tight end. His numbers are almost identical to Seferian-Jenkins': 63 catches, 818 yards and six touchdowns.

Tacoma’s Scott Crichton, a defensive end at Oregon State whom Washington did not offer a scholarship, was named to the first-team defense.

Wide receiver Marqise Lee of USC was named the offensive player of the year. Arizona State defensive tackle Will Sutton was named the defensive player of the year and Stanford coach David Shaw was voted coach of the year.

Pac-12 coaches voted on the teams.
